Hi, my name is Margaret Allan. I am a nutritionist and holistic health and mindset coach.
Initially I became a nutritionist to help myself because I was diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) as a child, and I was looking for other tools to help me heal outside of the conventional medical model. Changing my diet helped me immensely, and I found that this was a big step forward towards experiencing better health.
I also trained as a mindset coach because, in my experience, stress is also a trigger for chronic disease. I work on both these levels, the physical and the emotional, to help you get more on top of your illness or health challenges and gain momentum towards your health goals.
I have personally experienced the roller coaster ride through chronic illness, and have developed many tools and techniques to help you feel more empowered and in control of a situation that may feel out of control at times.
